This is Waylon, he’s a 2021 (Dec) Grade QH Palomino Gelding | Asking $2000

• Super-smart but needs a job and works best when he’s doing something everyday.
• Needs structure, but he also needs to know you love him.
• My husband is the only person who’s ridden him. In the past when he’s gotten spooked he will buck, hard – but if he’s consistently worked and ridden he does really well. He’ll just have to get to know you and learn to trust you.
• Sound, but he has a scar on his back ***left** fetlock where he got hung up in some wire when he was a yearling, but it doesn’t give him any trouble.
• Gives all of his feet, the back ones were a challenge but he gives them now.
• He’s a bit “studdy” around mares, we’ve seen him mount one of the mares. We haven’t had him tested.

> BACKSTORY
He was turned out in pasture turned housing development, some of the ladies would take him treats but no one did anything with him until we bought him a couple of years ago. Some of his baggage was not disclosed so I’m trying to include everything I can think of that we’ve become aware of since we’ve had him.

Trust is big for him, you can tell he’s been through things, we don’t know all of the things, but there’s a rope scar on his neck, under his throat, and  he can be pretty reactive, but he’s also shown us that the more he’s trusted my husband, he’s been willing to do whatever he’s asked him to do.

> WHY HE’S FOR SALE
We’re really digging into our breeding program and have more horses coming in so it’s really a priority of time issue, my husband loves him, and has made extraordinary progress with him, but for the time we have we’re having to re-situate who we’re putting the time into working.
